I think it could use a little more pre-heat cause that tube doesn’t get hot at all. I also relocated the valve, added a water separator, another row of holes, and now the thing is getting pretty hot. About as hot as I’d want it. Nearly red hot.

Reuse Waste Oil

The Oil-CAT automatically collects, blends with diesel fuel and filters used motor oil from any diesel engine oil pan, and then deposits this fuel/oil mixture into the diesel fuel tank servicing this engine.

To determine payback time, you simply need to determine the number of gallons of used oil that you collect annually. Multiply this number times the cost of diesel fuel/ JP-8 per gallons and you will have the cost benefit of this unit. Typically these units have a payback of 1 year or less.
